Pumpkin Planting Day

Pumpkin Planting Day was on June 24th and once again required some serious ingenuity! Dion came up with a great idea for hand planting the pumpkin seeds in the field. You will see what he came up with in the video. We were able to plant two acres of pumpkins using this little tool. We planted seeds for a huge variety of pumpkin of different sizes, colors and types. The smallest pumpkins are in the first five rows and with each row the pumpkins get progressively bigger. It will be amazing to watch hundreds of pumpkins grow! The pumpkins will be ready for the Flaming Acres Harvest Festival this fall for everyone to come and enjoy picking out their favorites.
