Hello sunflower lovers!
Today, March 29th, we started planting our sunflower seeds in the new field we created in the south east pasture near the entry, for the 2024 season. In the field we are planting 35 varieties of sunflowers ranging in color from traditional yellow, white, purples, oranges, pinks, reds, browns and every combination you can imagine. Be sure to check out our webpage titled "Flowers 2024"which showcases the flowers planned for the u-pick visitors. Sunflowers are just one of many kinds of exciting flower varieties we have planned for our guests this summer. We will open the farm for u-pick flower cutting on July 6th and will be open Saturdays & Sundays 9 am-2 pm every weekend until September 1st. U-pick flower cutting will continue into the fall but the free admission only applies during the summer season. Discounted buckets of bouquets are sold in the fall September 2nd through October 27th or until the first freeze.
