Flaming Acres Sunflower Field in the Rain

It was a beautiful evening on August the 19th, and I was just finishing hoeing the sunflower field when a lovely rainstorm came through the area. It was so refreshing and a reminder that it important to slow down, stop and enjoy basking in the beauty of what is around you. The hard work of preparing the ground, planting the seeds, watering and weeding the plants can be so overwhelming that it eclipses what is really important sometimes! I look forward to the day when our friends and neighbors, new and old can come a savor what all our hard work and vision for what people can experience at Flaming Acres Farm. I am praying that we have the strength to keep pushing on and am thankful that we have this opportunity to do what we do each and every day! Debbie
