Flaming Acres Farm is hiring for the 2024 Fall Harvest Festival Season. Flaming Acres hosts Harvest Festival Days on Saturdays & Sundays from noon 6 pm starting September 7th through October 27th. We are looking for individuals ages 14 or older who enjoy the outdoors, and meeting & communicating with the public. Those interested in working at Flaming Acres need to be physically capable of lifting, standing for long periods of time and handling all types of weather conditions. The types of jobs are as follows:

• Tractor drivers (must be 21 or older preferred), to pull the cow train, or hay wagons,

• Farm crew workers who help with harvesting pumpkins (may require weekday availability) and other farm tasks during the week and festival days such as set up/clean-up & monitoring the activities and corn maze,

• Cock-A-Doodle Brew coffee bar workers/cashiers, (Barista experience helpful)

• A cook for the Flaming Acres Grill grilling hotdogs & hamburgers,  a food prep person, and cashier,

• Admissions and pumpkin sales, cashiers,

• Arts & Crafts helper for Pumpkin Painting and other craft activities

• Farm Hands who help with pen clean up & watering & feeding animals                   

 

We will be paying 14 year olds $8/ hour, 15 year olds $10/hour for 16 and older $12/hour. 

For those with 1-2 years of experience working at Flaming Acres Farm 14 year olds $9/hour, 15 year olds $11/hour, 16-18 year olds $13/hour and 19 & older $14/hour.
