At Flaming Acres Farm, the 2024 FLOWER SEASON will open the weekend of July 6th & 7th, 9 am- 2 pm, and each Saturday & Sunday the rest of July, and all of August until September 1st. Flower cutting opportunities will continue during the Fall Harvest Festival Days starting September 7th Saturdays & Sundays noon- 6 pm all of September and into October, until the first frost. 

 

We have 35 varieties of Sunflowers varying in height from 24 inches to 14 feet with colors ranging from white, cream, lemon, yellow, green, orange, red, purple, pink, purple, burgundy, brown, and black. Since we harvested our own Zinnia seeds in 2023, the color variations from cross pollination will be fun and surprising for everyone. We are adding a garden of 300 different varieties of dahlias which will bloom in late summer and be a feast for the eyes. We have selected dahlias that range in every imaginable size, color and type. Our garden boasts over 400 beautiful lavender plants that continually bloom throughout the early summer and into the fall. At Flaming Acres, our visitors will be delighted with the wonderful array of flowers. Our complimentary garden flowers include Sweet Peas, Snapdragons, White Dill, Dara, Baby's Breath, Poppies, Yarrow and more.

 

We encourage visitors to come often to enjoy the changes in flower varieties blooming throughout the summer months and into the fall season. Admission is FREE in the summer. Fall u-pick visitors pay the Fall Harvest Days Admission fee and may purchase a 1/2 gallon container for only $16 ( 50% off discount).

 

We offer our u-pick visitors hot & cold specialty drinks at our very own Cock A Doodle Brew as well as desserts & ice cream. Visitors can take their time and enjoy friends and family under the shade of our giant poplar trees. Rain or shine, a visit to Flaming Acres Farm is a beautiful experience.

 

Kids are always welcome at Flaming Acres! We have farm animals, and fun arts & craft activities always ready for kids to enjoy. 

 

Flowers may be purchased by the container or vase or by the stem. Photographers are welcome to come during the hours we are open to the public or may sign up for a time slot for private photo shoot sessions through our online photographer bookings page.
